As one of those kids who was always intrigued by how things work, it’s not surprising that Mike’s career path has followed the course it has. He pursued mechanical engineering in school because he appreciated its diversity and overlap with other disciplines. “You get to dabble in it all. It never gets old.”

Mike spent several years in the nuclear industry, then a family friend introduced him to KFI. He liked the size, highly-dynamic work environment and the owner-advocate philosophy. He has more than 18 years of experience in design, analysis, construction and modification of energy plant systems and structures. He has also had operational and resource development responsibilities for 45 engineers and designers.

Outside the office, Mike is a global experience-seeker, traveling far and wide to immerse himself in the food, culture and history of every destination. He’s an avid skier, and also enjoys live music, with eclectic taste that encompasses all genres.
